Farm Tour Policy

Visitors are always welcome here! Tour possibilities are available to various groups and individuals. Come and see a working full-time farm of a former Polyface Inc. apprentice. Tour options are as follows:

• Self-guided tours: People are welcome to come out and see anything anywhere. Please call before you come. I currently rent my farm so you must be informed of places off-limits for the sake of respecting the landlords property and privacy.
• Children's tours: Educational tours for grades K-12. $200 (special pricing available)
• All other tours:
  • People from Johnson, Iowa, Washington, and Linn counties. $200
  • People from Iowa outside the aforementioned counties. $350
  • Anyone outside of Iowa. $500

All farm tours are Monday through Saturday by appointment only. Tours last 3-4 hours and no longer! You must be here 10 minutes early so we can start on time. Rates are the same regardless of group size.

Speaking Engagements

Hear what it's like from a former Polyface apprentice, getting started with your own operation. My honorarium is $800 plus expenses. Expenses include: food, travel, lodging, parking fees, and any other expenses that I would need covered at my discretion.
