Farm Order and Pick-Up Policies

I do not ship anything anywhere. Local, community-based agriculture and other businesses are vital to vibrant communities, strong economies, and national security. I encourage customers to patronize their local producers. My order form is sent out with my farm newsletter in the Spring. For new customers who did not receive a newsletter, you can call me (319-683-3199) about product availability.

All custom beef, poultry, and lamb must be pre-ordered. Eggs are available for on-farm pick-up. Two weeks advance notice will be given of processing days with poultry. That notice will give the pick-up times. For pick-up day information please call me and I'll be happy to get you on board.

Punctuality on the processing days is important. If you cannot make it on a processing day please call me and we can reschedule pick-up arrangements. People who do not make it on the processing day and give me no advance notice about it will be charged an extra $.25/lb. I reserve the right to sell a customer's birds to someone else if that individual is not prompt with pick-up after missing a processing day.
